Default hello people!need your advice

Hey guys!im thinking of buying 2005 facelift freelander!read quite abit about them which obviously put me off...i want to know if the 2005 1.8 motor had been improved compared the older engines or has nothing changed?and if i get it will the multi level head gasket alond with checking the coolant often prevent it going?and changing the cvs every 80.00 km stop it from braking??thanks alot guys im in love with it!!should i got for it?

Unfortunately, I would not buy a freelander or recommend one to anyone if it's petrol. The freelander released in the USA market is very problematic- not only the engine, but the transmission as well. Plus parts availability is a major problem.
