Hello,

Last weekend I purchased a yr 2000 Land Rover Discovery 2 with 151,000 miles. This is my first discovery. I work from home so this is much more of a recreational vehicle than a daily driver type vehicle.

I am really interested in doing my own maintenance. I am a mechanical engineer who has not been able to get my hands as dirty as I would have liked in my career, and I'd love to start on my personal vehicle.

With that said, I don't know what I'm doing in the slightest and if anyone needs a "go for" in southern California while they're doing their own maintenance, I'd be happy to help if I can learn something along the way.
