Default Hello from Tx

Hi I just joined and I'm looking at buying a 2011 RR S/C . I had it looked at today and the Mech said it is developing a rear main seal leak and he thinks the timing chain is making a sound . I wasn't there but my wife who happens to be at the same city visiting her sick sister, so she took it to the mech how convenient . Has anyone else had or know of these problems . It has 79K miles on it, if that helps. She said it runs like a beast and it's in pristine condition and the prices is pretty cheap . Any advice or help ! do you think it's worth the 37K price ?

Best regards
Yachtnutz

Welcome.

Take it to a Land Rover dealership and ask them to inspect it. ~$300. Should give you an accurate picture of what you're getting.

Welcome to the forum. Need to have it checked by a reputable LR mechanic. Sometimes the cheap price doesn't end up being very cheap if you have to put a lot into it to make it safe to drive.
