Here I am!
Hello all. This is supposedly the place to make my introductions, so here I go.
My name's Nathan, and I live in Kutztown, PA. I'm a metalsmith by trade, but I'm currently employed in north Jersey teaching contractors about lead safety through the governments new RRP rule.
The '65 Land Rover was like that when I got it. I swear. I'm actually it's custodian while my younger brother is away at school in Miami, and it was that color when HE got it, too. It's had just short of a total rebuild. The only original things left are the body, engine, interior and suspension (minus new bilsteen shocks). As you can see it's got a winch on the front, plus a new frame, carburetor, wiring, etc.
The '96 Range is my new daily driver. The roof rack is all aircraft grade stainless steel from Rovers North. Everything else is OEM. It's name is Conan because I was frantically driving my best friend back to his house on his wedding day to pick up the cuff-links he forgot when a jogger decided it would be a great time to cut in front of me. So, instead of skipping back onto the side of the road, this crazy chick starts RUNNING AWAY FROM US. So naturally I yell "Conan, what is best in life?!" and my friend replies "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women!"
That's why my P38 is named Conan. How's that for an introduction?
