It's official, and here's my first land rover! She's a '98 Disco, 128k miles and in pretty good shape. Cosmetically pretty good...some loose bumper covers (will replace with aftermarket), leaky power steering hoses...minor window reg issues. Just enough to keep me busy.

Taking her in next week for a high-mileage overhaul...once everything is mechanically sound I plan on an OME lift and some tires for the winter (looked at treadwrights, but not sure if they're snow rated - doubt it).

Anyway, super stoked to be here!

Nice ride! I too just purchased a 98 disco lse. I would attach a pic but I don't know how... And it looks exactly like this one.

 

i am also new to the forum. Just bought myself a green 97 Discovery and love it!
