Default Hey Everyone

The new rover

Hey all,

First off thanks to everyone on here for the awesome tech section.

I just bought my first Rover and I love it so far, probably because I only have to drive 6km to work lol.

Got myself a 96 Disco I for $2k. found it with a rough and wandering idle, check engine light, service engine soon light, and ABS light all on. took it home read the codes, and cleared them. Cleaned the MAF sensor, ran a can of seafoam through the tank and it idles and runs WAAAYYYY better. the idle is still wandering a little when its cold, but I haven't reset the computer yet so ill chalk that up to the OBDII running off old statistics.

Few things to deal with like the rear skylight causing a small rain storm in the back seat when I get in in the morning, but for $2k I think I got a deal lol.

Look forward to getting help from you all and chipping in when I can.

Well I used to be into wheeling quite a bit, had a Jeep and went through a few samurai, but this is just a driver. So here is to it lasting longer than a month between repairs hahha
