Hi Everyone I'm Honey Baked coming from San Diego, CA

Just wrapping up my profile and dropping a line here to introduce myself. I just recently bought a 2000 D2 and while the previous owner had taken many measures to increase it's reliability there is plenty more to do to keep this baby in good shape! I'm checking in to this forum to learn about what's been done to the vehicle as well as learn more about how to take care of it. I absolutely love the way my D2 drives so far. I haven't gotten a chance to get it out to the dirt yet but once I've gone thru it and feel confident it will get me out there with no surprises, then I'll get it dirty!

Nice rig! Welcome here. This forum is a great source of information and knowledge about our D2’s. When you have technical questions about it, post in the D2 section.

Thanks, yeah so far I've been really enjoying it. I knew getting into one, there would be wrench time and certain compromises but to me that adds to the appeal. Every time I drive it especially with my younger kids we all feel like we're on safari haha.

I have a little list of growing things that need to get done so I'll definitely be in the D2 section soon.

I am currently awaiting a Nanocom to help tackle some common issues such as the 3 amigos lights and I need to take it thru its drive cycles for smog which are near impossible or at least a lot of work without a diagnostic tool from what I gather. But all in due time

It’s pricey but you won’t regret buying the Nanocom.
