"Feelers" Trace the Original
Key makers feature a component known as a "feeler." This feeler may be a highly sensitive metal or plastic rod that closely traces--or feels--the outline of Peugeot Transponder Key. The information obtained by the feeler is feed back into the machine for processing by the cutting mechanism.

A New Key is in use
Once the feeler has traced the original, the cutter is ready to reproduce the design of the key. As the cutting mechanism passes over the blank key, a series of cuts is made by a rotating cut face.
