Hello! I own a 2006 LR3 and a 2016 Discovery Sport. I’m the type of person who wants to understand why things work the way they do, or don’t, and this forum has been a lifesaver. We bought both of our Land Rover's off my husband’s boss (2.5 years apart). So, that means he knows WAYYYYY more than I could ever know…right? Wrong. Three times. THREE TIMES!! That’s how many times something’s messed up with the ‘06 LR3 and I researched (and solved) the issue on, and because of, this forum; only to be told that “there’s no way that could possibly be what’s wrong” because “my boss” said so. I’ve never once said, “I told you so.” That being said, I’ll be forever grateful to this forum for greatly increasing my ability to impress my husband when it comes to fixing our vehicles.
