Nice restoration on the series, pretty cool. Welcome back, and it looks like your old Dl found its way back, too.

ahhhhhh!!!!! Holy ****. That’s amazing! It looks EXACTLY the way I left it. I’m so nobody butchered it too bad.
doogie I’m going to hit you up in pm. I’d love to hear all about How you came by it, what type of shape it’s in how many miles on the clock (if she still remembers me hahaha) all that. I’ve also got all the background and history on that thing you might want up until about 2014 or early 2015

congrats man!

mans thanks re the series. It’s an ongoing process. I’m always going to have something to do on it but that’s true of really any Land Rover.
it’s a lot of fun and I feel a little rarer than your standard defender or something. I wanted to get one before they became too expensive or all the stuff that was around turned to Swiss cheese. As it is this truck could probably benefit from a frame and new bulkhead eventually but it runs and drives great the way it is so I’m trying to enjoy using it instead of blowing it into a million pieces and letting scope creep keep it off the road for a long time.

as it is right now I’m retrofitting some d1 axels for leaf springs to see if I can get 4wheel disc and a bit of a wider track underneath of it. At least that’s a project I can run OFF the truck mostly.
