Hello everyone,

You may remember me from a few years back. I had a god awfully modified red D1. (these are the only pics I could find. I don't remember it being this bad but.....)








Anyways. Ever since I sold it and dropped myself into the middle of the VW world, I have wanted another. Living in the heart of San Diego, I just couldn't justify it. However, I recently moved up to Tacoma Washington, and really needed a winter vehicle / race car tow rig, so I finally got my chance. Just picked up this 02 D2. Needs some work. Obviously need to tackle all of the general maintenance, but overall I think I'm pretty happy with the purchase.







Anyways, glad to be back, and in a newer shinier Disco. I think this time I'm going to focus a bit more on reliability and safety before I start thrashing off road. Hoping to god this thing will be my reliable "Dailey" for the next couple years. Cant wait to catch up with you all.
