I'm a Brand Newbie. :-)
Though when Rovers first caught my eye, I preferred the Range to the Landy, I've come around now, and just picked up my first 4WD ever, a 2000 Disco II SD.
It needs a little work here and there, in recognition of the fact that I bought it *real* good, but I'm fine with that.
I have Grand Plans; we'll see how many of them I accomplish. :-)
My first plan is to take it to the local dealer and have them do their UCI on it, and see if they spot the same things I do. If so, I *may* decide to pay them to do the factory 120K on it, which I think was skipped (it came off lease around 80 or 90, and I don't know how well it's been maintained since)... unless someone convinces me there's a better approach.
As Scott Adams would put it: "Go." :-)

Well, wish you would have picked the Range, but that's just my personal thought. LOL!! Hope you enjoy it. Not too familiar with the Disco's, but hope it serve's you well. And Welcome to the Forums!!!
there are loads of guys from Florida on here. There is a club and hence I'm sure loads of help. Make sure download the RAVE manual and check out Disco Mike's 60k Service sticky in the Disco section that is an awesome start to a new owner.
