Morning wherever you are...

I am an ageing Discovery 4 owner, finally reaching the stage in my life when I could afford to run one.

I live in the central belt of Scotland and am self employed.

I am on my second marriage and have three step sons and two estranged sons. I love the Disco and am looking forward to doing minor maintenance on it as time goes on. I don't plan to find myself lying under it, getting covered in oil or brake dust. That's for younger folk.

Like the most of the world we are in lockdown due to the Covid-19 virus so the car is not out and about that much. In so saying, we have had snow lying (I know there are parts that get it worse than us, but snow here in God's country plays havoc with roads and working outside) so I haven't been able to get near that car other than essential shopping trips.

I am also a motorbiker so summer runs usually mean the car is in the drive.
