Just got a 1998 Discovery. I've had a Jeep Cherokee & a Nissan Xterra, but the Land Rover is new to me. Looking forward to new adventures!

 

Welcome! You will enjoy the rover! Download the rave and check your front drive shaft to find out if it has been rebuilt or replaced with a aftermarket shaft.

After you've downloaded the RAVE manual and checked your propshaft (I didn't know the 98 had double cardan propshafts, too,) check out the Write Ups. Enjoy!

 

Discovery 1's DO NOT have a problem with non-greaseable driveshafts.
