Default Just bought my first land rover. But I need some help

I just bought it yesterday its a 99 disco I belive its a 99i because they said if the hvac is manual its a (i) not a(ii).
there are 2 small leaks one is coming from some place near the oil filter this is the biggest one, but it stops once the disco cools down.
the other is comming from behind the engine I think its the differantial because the oil is a lot lighter than the engine oil it looks like a really light transparent green.
any ideas on both leaks???
thank you very much for your help

99 disco 97670 miles on it.

I cant help you on the leaks but I will help you determine exactly which model you have:

Discovery I

Discovery II

The rear lights tell all.
Knowingthe modelwill help some people track down your problem better as well.

Theworks-You need to take your truck back to the dealer and shove it up their ***. You have a coolant leak. That is the green stuff. If you stick your fingure in it and rub it it will be slimey.
The oil leak should not happen when the engine is running. That could be a leaking oil filter, could be anything.
Whatever you do DO NOT let the truck overheat because you WILL blow up the engine.
I am sure that the dealer didnt tell you this, but you MUST use premium gas in a Land Rover.
