Default Just picked up an '01 Discovery SE II

Hey everyone,
We were looking for a third, recreational vehicle to use for camping, hauling bikes and kayaks, and other weekend work. I recently purchased a 2001 Discovery SE 2 with 192,000 miles on it.

The wife and I each how low-mileage primary vehicles we use for daily transportation.

I was best of the four that I tried over a three-week period in terms of condition and the way it ran. Plus, the guy just put brand news tire on it and fixed the back brakes two weeks prior to me purchasing so it could pass inspection.

He only owned it for 8 months. Only one owner prior. Taking it to the land rover dealer Wednesday for a complete vehicle inspection to see what the skeletons in the closet are. Then I plan to tackle them one by one.

So far so good.

Look forward to learning more on the forum
