Hi. Welcome.
Boneyard or one of the popular dismantlers on here, good source for shifter.

I am about a 45 min drive (35 miles) to the east.

My 99 does have a shifter. Do you need the whole shifter assembly or just the ****/button?

i should probably take the whole shifter...how much would you need to part ways with it? hows the tranny in the truck? i have a small slip that that's tolerable but i'll probably have to put a new tranny in at some point. im going to be using my LR for a work truck so a smooth ride isnt super important....at first anyway. you're an easy trip, im definitely interested in meeting up.

Hey, welcome to the forums.

For parts, I'd give Paul Grant a shout. He's up in CT, shipping from him is pretty quick to our area, and he's not too far of a drive for larger parts.
