Default Kentucky here!

Hi,

I just bought a '99 Disco with 103K miles. Truck is in good shape but I need to replace the passenger side blinker (the whole assembly) and the driver side fog lamp. I am not a hands on guy but any info would be greatly appreciated. I will also be needing new tires in a few thousand miles and suggestions are welcome (looking at the Goelander from Yokohama.

Also if anyone knows some good soft trails in near Lexington that would be great.

Thanks, I look forward to the discussions!

Welcome.

The shop manual and owner's manual are part of the RAVE, which is Rover's name for the whole set, free download below.

1999 was a swap over year for Discovery, so you'll want to call it a 1998 if it is the D1, or a 2000 if it is a D2 - or suffer confused parts guys forever. You can just add D1 or D2 for us.

The D1 has a mechanical odometer, the D2 has a digital display one (plus 719 other differences).

One source of on-line parts is Rovers North; there are others. One source of clean used parts is Paul Grant (you'll see him on this site); he has parted out hundreds of Rovers.
