Hello All, Purchased a 96 D1 last fall with minor faults. Truly enjoy driving this vehicle......I read all these "problems" etc from members and almost get paranoid to drive mine.....Lets get real.....I have a young man, mechanic who so far has fixed any and all problems on the D1......Sure they are more difficult to work on, but not impossible........and he's probably saved me thousands of dollars vs dealer cost.....He also has the All-data system and believe me it will tell you everything.......I do no serious off roading, just enjoy the ipod and the ride.........btw this mechanic I have races Legend Cars and knows all about suspension, engines, brakes, rear ends, tranny's etc........Bob
