Hi there. Long time Land Rover owner here from New York. I have owned a Discovery, Discovery 2, LR3, 1st generation Range Rover Sport, 8 cylinder LR4 and now am the proud (but pissed off) owner of a brand new 2020 Defender HSE. Looking forward to some good conversations with fellow Land Rover owners and enthusiasts on these boards.

Welcome aboard. Not many with the new Defender yet but I'd say we are all eying it.

Got any pics?

Just the one I showed earlier in the other thread I started describing the bad experience I had earlier today picking the vehicle up but I’ll post it again in this thread.

I started another thread with a quick story about how I picked the truck up yesterday and within 3 miles of driving it I had to bring it back to the dealership for service on the ABS. Unfortunately they have the truck so the only picture that I have is the one I first took before delivery.

Why proud but pissed off? We were looking at the 2020 Defender when we were ready to order the 2020 Discovery Sport. The higher cost and long wait put us off the Defender and we went with the DS. Couldn't be happier with it!

Pissed off because the Defender had to be brought back to the dealer 3 miles in with an ABS module failure. Won't know until Monday when the dealer can get the part so I have no idea when I get the truck back.

Mine was delivered with a faulty SIM connection. Other than that smooth sailing.

I hope that this is the only thing that goes wrong with it for the foreseeable future. BTW, your Discovery Sport sounds like a nice combo. Have any pics to share?

I intended to take some pictures at a local park right after getting the ceramic coating applied but life got in the way. Here are a couple from the day we took delivery.

Very nice. Are you enjoying the vehicle so far?
