Default My Intro.

Just picked up my first Land Rover today. I was so excited, I had to take a picture right there in the lot. What do you all think?

Does anyone know the stock tint % for the back, so I can match the fronts?

Glad to be here posting on LRF!

You think it looks good without the fronts tinted?

I always thought it looked odd and out of place, thus being the reason I was wondering how dark the tint was from factory so the front's could match.

maybe it is because i am used to it (here have tinted front windows only those who can afford the financial punishment :-) ) but i find it nice. On white car i would (same as on my silver one) choose mirror finish, but it looks nice even so. Actually it would look worse, cheaper, less exclusive without any windows tinted.

But, i believe that white color on landy was a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig mistake :-D

I decided to have a little fun with the photobucket edit feature. I also darkened the windows up a little.

frt tint is illegal in many places. Check with your states laws beforehand. California is way against it and cops don't like it when you flaunt it out there.

be glad, In many other countries like Australia Tinted windows is a 500 dollar option. Its weird to see a 90k RR with no privacy glass.

And enjoy the LR2. Its quite nimble and good.

Welcome to the boards!
If you are interested in the tinting, so to a shop and they will be able to match it.
But as mentioned, make sure its legal first. I think you'll be fine as long as you dont do the front windscreen.

I'll be sure to check out the local laws on the front window tints. I would never do the windshield though, that's asking to get pulled over.

Thanks for the welcomes guys!
