my winter monster
Hey everyone,
after browsing a few LR forums, I decided to make camp here and create an account. Heres a little introduction.
My background is in sports cars, and my pride and joy is a 2001 BMW M3. I am from Maine, and go to school in Denver, Colorado. After braving a winter in the Rockies with snow shoes on the M3, I decided the best move would be to pick up a designated winter car.
My dad has been in a LR for as long as I can remember (D1, D2, LR3, and now a RR Sport), and I definitely had it in the back of my mind that I would join his legacy. After trying to decide on 4Runner vs LR3, we found a 2007 LR3 for a good deal, and worked in a bumper to bumper 'unlimited' warranty into the deal.
The car is silver, and the V8 SE trim. Silver has never been my first choice for any car, but I'm confident that with the right amount of tasteful mods, I can bring out its aggressive side.
True off-roading is not the build plan. The car will be turned into the best possible ski machine, allowing me to tear through anything I need on my way skiing, and any other adventuring.
Looking forward to learning some more for everyone here.
