Howdy,

After years of looking and narrowing down my preferences I just acquired my dream 2004 D2. Green Ext w/ a light cream & taupe two-tone interior, HSE, 83k miles and in absolutely phenomenal condition. It's getting shipped today from CA to TX!

The last few weeks I've found this forum among others to do a lot of reading about the issues these D2's have, so thank you all for the great information.

I would like to start a new thread that outlines my buying process and aftermarket modifications. There's a wealth of information out there but it never hurts to have another experience shared for those new buyers looking. Would the Discovery II sub-forum be the best place to start such a thread? I'd like to outline everything I did, am doing, ask for advice and recommendations and include all costs associated I spent on these. I think this part is missing in a lot of places I seek information and it'd be great for other buyers and owners to see what's out there (whether I severly overpaid for things or not) - it's good information to have.

Thank you, I found the Build Thread and will do that after it arrives. Seller called me and let me know the Disco had trouble starting this morning as he was loading it on the truck. Yay - I'm afraid I'll be initiated into this club (read: obsession) veerryy quickly
