Default New with a ?

New to the site here and have a question. I'm currently driving an '06 Mustang GT. Fun car, a few mods, gets LOTS of attention (good and bad). I'm looking at an '04 Discovery 2, about 56k miles, very good condition certified, yadda yadda yadda. This will be an additional vehicle. I know you all love your LR's and RR's, but my question is, would you honestly recommend this vehicle to me? I snow ski, fish, camp, bike, a little bit of everything, and I can't do ANY of it with the 'Stang. I know Land Rover's are amazing off road, but give me an idea of gas mileage, engine/electrical problems, and anything else associated with these. Thanks a million!

15/20, constant lights showing up... as for buying one, look for private sales, there are lots of people trying to get rid of them right now. I prefer being safe in a SUV, then in a civic, so gas really isnt anything, repairs... eh different story.

Just my 2 cents. . .We just got an '04 Disco II 40K miles- precertified whatever about a month ago. We love it, traded in our Freelander which we also loved. We've been told and read that the '04 is a great vehicle, but haven't had ours long enough to know. We had few problems with our Freelander, and yes, they can be expensive to fix but it's a fun drive in return.
