What is going on LR community. I am Jason from New Mexico. I own a 98 Disco 1 with a 4.0. Runs like a champ and going to slowly turn it into an overland vehicle. I am a mechanic so I do all my own work on my vehicles. I am new to Rovers, so I figure I would join this community for guidance, tips and hopefully friendships.
The only work I have done to the Disco is all fluid changes (except trans, which I just got my parts from Atlantic British), plugs and wires, and fixed and replaced a rear window regulator.
Next upcoming upgrades, top engine rebuild to the head gaskets (once it warms up a bit, get the brass radiator rodded, TerraFirma 3 inch lift, wheels and tires. The list is huge, but these are coming soon. Look forward to meeting any and all of you. Cheers from the 505

We tend to be family friendly on this site. So basically treat others with a bit of respect and your fine.

Wow, your first LR happens to be a 98’ LSE in Woodcote Green. Congrats, it’s a rare one since that color was limited and only offered in 98’. And the wheels are the TWR 5-spokes. Cool looking wheels. If you decide to sell them let me know. Welcome.

Wow thank you for making me happy about my new LR. The green and tan interior is my favorite combination for almost any vehicle. Planning on buying a lift kit with new wheels and tires, but why may I ask are you interested in the stock wheels? I was thinking of keeping them for on road purposes and getting the Rover in my garage after the lift. I'll let you know however.
