New Disco owner in NJ
Hey everyone, glad to introduce myself on this forum. I've always admired the Rovers but in the 16 years of having a drivers license, and the now 32 cars/ trucks that I've owned (not even counting the cars I buy and restore through my shop) not one of them has been a Land Rover...until now!
My wife and I have 3 very energetic young boys and we are a total outdoor family. We have been through literally EVERY mid and full size SUV over the years and were casually looking around to try something different...and fortunately while we were looking at mini coopers (for fun) we found this beautiful, affordable and most importantly WELL MAINTAINED Discovery.
It's a 2003 S with 117k miles on it, and it drives great. Always maintained by Cherry Hill Land Rover in NJ, it has all of the signs of a well loved and well looked after vehicle. Paint looks great, leather looks perfect, underneath has no rust and appears to never have been taken off-road, transfer case seems proper, and besides a few minor quirks I will address over time it doesn't "appear" to be in need of anything right now...but then again it IS a Land Rover!
Here are some pics I shot this morning when I got to the shop:

I will have lots of questions...after utilizing the SEARCH functions of course...and I look forward to meeting up with some other enthusiasts in person for some terrain drives!
