land rover makes the range rover, a range rover is the top of the line land rover.

i notice you like mustangs. so a range rover is the new 2007 Shelby GT500 Cobra of land rover.

i only have one land rover, but 5 fords. three of which are mustangs

1967 mustang, 1969 Mustang Mach1, 1994 Mustang GT Convertible. my dad has a 1982 gt and a 2003 mach 1

Thanks...got it...Same as Merc or Lincoln to Ford line.

Yep...Had a few Stangs, 65 289HiPo,67Coupe,69 mach,79,83GT,87lx,90 LX 7-up ltd ed and still have wife's 95GT. I wanted an 03 Cobra but the payments scare me! I don't have any and like it that way. However, when my wife finishes college, I promised her an 05.

I'm looking at a 98 Discovery. If it is clean and runs out good, I'll probably get it. I have had 2 Exporers in the past and a Jeep Grand POS. So I hope my experience with a Rover is better. If it turns out like a Jetta I bought her before, it will get dumped quick. Meaning that replacement parts are made of unobtainium and gold plated. That car was a real PIA. German engineering but made in Mexico? Even a friends imported wolfsburg edition has the same issues hers did.

Sorry to rant on........

I'll let you know if I get the Rover.

98 Disco has a refined Buick AL V-8 engine. Just to add to the confusion, the 2006 LR3 ( Disco 3 ) has a V-8 Jaguar engine or a V-6 Ford engine available

Thanx....

Are there any quick easy tunes to these to get just a tad more response out of the motors? I am not complaining but I am somewhat disapointed in the low rpm torque. Just may be me getting used to it. It is the wife's new ride anyway. I think I just may look for an older version to drive back & forth to work. Proly try to find a oil burner. (diesel)
