New to forum from Chattanooga
Hey all, I'm new to this forum and want to say that it's already be very helpful in getting a few things straightened out on a Disco 2 that I picked up about a month or so ago.
The Discovery has always been a vehicle I had wanted to own someday, and recently my wife and I needed to get a "family wagon" since we had our first child.
It is a 2003 model with 98, 000 miles, and so far has been a blast to drive and trail ride.
I've been a mechanic for many years, and have work for a machine shop at a long time local Chattanooga family owned business for about ten years now.
I've already done the following:
OME shocks, replaced airbox assy, replaced all O2 sensors, front driveshaft, and fixed a bunch of little things that were either loose or broken.

Hey! Not sure yet on this Disco, I'm trying to resist the urge to trail this one too hard, and just keep it as clean and stock as possible for family wagon duties.
We call this one "Sarah's adventure car" and she loves driving it.... so I feel kinda like it really needs to stay stock height and clean.
I really want to find a D1 in just the right shape to enjoy as our more serious family trail riding vehicle.
Would love an manual trans D1 with a small lift to run a 265/75R16 size tire.
