Hi all, I just purchased my first Land Rover. It’s a chawton white 2008 LR3 HSE with 108k miles that is presently on Long Island. I’m waiting for a shipping company to identify a driver that will pick it up and deliver to me in Louisville.

Hope I don’t get off on the wrong foot with dumb questions. I’ve already read the owners manual and watched/read enough videos and articles that I think I’ll be OK.

I’m not planning any major modifications, just some Yakama racks to carry our kayaks, the tow hitch receiver w/wiring, and Bluetooth aux. I’m deep in the Alfa Romeo world and never know when I’ll need to drag something home.

Following up my first post with a delivery photo. Now to figure out what doesn’t work! So far it’s just been the parking sensors (any of them).

Welcome! If you make it out to Lexington/Winchester give me a shout! I had an '08 LR3 SE when we lived out in Washington and miss the hell out of that truck. Have fun!

Parking sensors love to fail. Apparently they don't like high blasts of water like at a manual car wash. So that can caused them to die. Pain to replace, bumper cover has to come off...... No worries on dumb questions, they have to be really, really dumb to get any flack around here.
