Just saying hey. Bought a non running D2 saturday and it just keeps surfacing issues. Hoping to salvage the motor but not holding breath on it. It turns over and about every 4 seconds backfires through intake. Going try tommorow check for spark,wasnt able to do tonight by myself. Also sucks go to work when dark and by time get home its dark. Would just like to get running long enough to finish the gm power plant for it. Will be starting a thread in D2 section tommorow. Looks to be an awesome site.

Dont know on codes is there anyway to flash them out instead of a scanner? I bought it off Craiglist and was kinda decived. The guy said it got hot then found out after buying it that it was the guy he got it from had issues and that guy never got it to run. Then get under it last night to find out the cats were cut off. Yea was kinda my fault but was going buy it reguardless. He did say selling it it would need a motor as the only way he felt right selling it. I am going to try track down the orignal owner to try get history of issues and how long they went on. Wish I had a light to know if it had fire at plugs at least.
