So after years and years of jeeps, sports cars and other SUVs, I bought an older Disco as a project car. It runs well but needs some aestheic work here and there. Its a 96 Discovery with plenty of little issues...doors aren't locking, seat adjuster pieces broken off, ac not working.....but for 1800 bucks and a car that is running strong, I think it was a worthwhile investment. Ask me again in 3 mo nths and lets hope I am singing the same song!

Hopefully i enjoy it as well, parts don't seem too expensive as far as maintenance goes.

Disco Is are a piece of cake to fix. Hope you'll enjoy it. Just so you know they do require premium gas. Are you gonna be doing much off roading?
