Hi all, I'm new here and to Land Rover Ownership. I just got a Series III SWB unit and have some serious plans for it. It is WAY beyond restoration so I will essentially be using just the body and mounting it to a custom race chassis fitted with coilover IFS and a 3 link/coilover rear suspension with a Ford 9" - this will be the low, 2WD custom Land Rover I have been fantasizing about for about 15 years. Not sure on engine/trans but may try to fit a late model Range Rover supercharged V8 and OD auto or the simple SBC/auto combo that many hot rodders run.

I know very little about these vehicles and have tons of parts that I will not be using so if you have advice or are in need of something, please reach out.
