Hello! Just bought my first Land Rover to restore- a 1964? Series IIA 109! I am located in B.C. Canada and am excited to join the Land Rover community.
Purchased it for only $2500 from a guy who started restoring it in 1983! It came with a whole bunch of extra parts like transmissions, differentials, hood, fenders, gauges, rims and whole bunch of others. It has Warn front lockers as well as an original front Capstan Winch.

Congrats on your purchase! The Series II brings back many memories of my few years in the military when I worked as a mechanic maintaining them in the fleet. I would love to get one for restoration. By the way, where are you located in BC? I am moving to the Fraser Valley area soon for a work assignment, possibly in Maple Ridge.
I am in Trail, bought the land rover in Nelson which is about an hour away from me. I am a Power Engineer at the lead smelter here and the guy I bought it from was told that this land rover was a company vehicle in the 60's for this company i work for.
