Hello! I have just put in a down payment on this big boy https://automm2016.ca/vehicle/2008-Land-rover-Lr3-SE Getting it on Wednesday, provided it passes inspection.

I'm a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, I wanted something that can take me and my kit to any conceivable posting, to use on hunting expeditions and to just drive my teammates around, rover may not be fuel efficient, but I have never seen a more capable vehicle in my budget. Though I was curious, looking at the pictures, you guys got anything I should be concerned of?

Welp, the truck came back as stolen, now fighting the seller to get my deposit back, as they gave me the wrong VIN during inspection.

I had rented a Disco 2 for the day from a used car dealer and it was running so smooth, I ended up taking it to the inspection I had scheduled for the LR3. For a 2000 car, which I paid basically that price, it was surprisingly spotless, so now I'm a disco 2 owner instead.

Going to do it up like a Jurassic Park staff vehicle for the 30th anniversary, colour is already perfect, gonna be a fun summer!

 

I hope you get your deposit back. Nice looking D2 though.
