Hello all,

I have owned my Rover for a little over a year now and love what it is capable of. It's my wife's daily driver as I have a company car that I get a gas card with and unlimited personal miles with free gas. But once I come home from work we switch. As I stated above it's a 02 Discovery II SE7 with 18" rims that I wish were 16" especially since I just had some new tires put on. So far I've done the tires, spark plugs and wires, and put a new gas door clip on replacing a broken one which I hear is a common problem.

Mods I've done is remove my fog lamps which were broken beyond repair and since I'm going with an aftermarket bumper soon I fabed up a set of brackets for aux. driving lights I happened to have laying around I had intended to use on a vette I sold recently. Wired everything up on the fog light switch.

My Disco is NOT a pavement queen and gets taken to trails and the woods about once every two weeks to get firewood or just for fun.

I was raised a farm boy and spent 4 years in the Marines. I've owned a variety of vehicles and worked on all of them ranging from (92 Prelude, 04 Ducati 800SS, 02 Wrangler Sahara, 86 Corvette, and now the disco). First got interested in Discos when I saw them used in Iraq by British Marines, then when I got back a 1st LT in my Battalion had a Defender 90 with a 6" lift and 38s I believe. When I saw what it could do I was in love from then on and started looking for mine. I have since EAS'ed from the Marines and work as an Engineering Field Service rep for a firm out of Kettering Ohio.

In my spare time I shoot my 1911, AK-47 and Mosin 91/30, weight train, and go wheeling.
