I've recently purchased a 1990 Range Rover. I want to make it look really good, but I have no idea where to begin.

Candi,

Ya gotta give us a little more to work with here.

In what overall condition is your RR Classic in?

It runs well and the body is in good condition. The leather on the seats is worn and cracking. The console is very loose and the wood stuff around the dash is not in very good condition.

Well Candi.... the best advice I can give you is to be careful in how you go about putting money into your Classic. I have a 1991 Black Classic that is very straight, and the little flaws it does have would cost a fair amount of money to correct. For instance-- the interior wood trim pieces you would have to find used. There are Yards that specialize in this area. One--actually is called "Specialized British" in Rancho Cordova, California. They have a number of Classics stripped down, and the hard to find stuff is something they frequently have. However, you could expect to pay $200-500 for used pieces depending on how many you needed to replace. My Classic has 140K on it now, and the main areas I pay attention to have to do with the mechanics of the vehicle (drivetrain, suspension, etc.). Your loose console might be something simple.

Go to my web-site and read through the technical info sections to get a better idea of potential problem areas and what to look for. These are great trucks!! So enjoy it.

Anyway--hope this helps.
