Hey all! Just picked up an '04 Disco and love it. A couple of quick questions for the LR vets, is there a less expensive alternative to the OEM Rail-Grabber cross bars? Cheapest I could find was $300. I was thinking about going with the Thule high gutter mounts (T953) and cross bars but I like the idea of using the factory rack.

Also, I picked up an SE, I was really looking for an SE7 but I could not find an '04 in the color I wanted in the area. Is there a rear seat kit available?

Lastly any tips for a first time LR owner would be most appreciated.

Thanks.

I have been told that sometimes the bars were actually supplied with the Disco, and are located in the boot area in where the jack is located. Worth a look before spending money..

Thanks for the tip Lightening 90. I just took a look. Jack is located under the hood next to the battery. Did not think it would be there because of the limited space. It was not. I also looked in the back under the rear seats and in the cargo area. No luck. I will keep searching around on the web for the best solution. I think I might give in and get the Thule high foot rain gutter mounts and the load bars. Probably not a bad idea considering I already have the Thule ski and bike racks. I just like the clean look of having it on the factory rails.

Thanks.
