I've been an off road enthusiast for all of my life. I own and build vintage Ford Broncos.
I currently own 2. One is highly modified for rock crawling. The other is for mild trail work, although more than capable of handling the Rubicon trail.
I have been looking for a vehicle that my wife and I can drive down the Baja and back. We have a house in Cabo and the Pacific Northwest and I have the opportunity to chase for a small team in the Baja 1000.
I have looked at Fj cruisers and jeeps. Just not finding what I'm looking for..
Recently found a lifted 03 Discovery SE. Always liked them and thought, hmm.
My wife is really happy about this choice. So that's great.....
That's why I'm here. Looking for advice and mods for the Baja heat and what I've heard about possible heat issues.

I will be searching this forum extensively and look forward to any info, input and advice you guys have.
Thanks, Tony
