Hey! New member here in SWFL.. just picked up my 01 disco 2 yesterday... already having issues because the seller pretty much screwed me.. oh well.
My husband and I are now just excited to have a project car now...

He drives a 2013 Focus ST.. and I'm a Honda Prelude lover.. LOL.. so this is definitely something new for us.. combined we have 5 kids so these 2 jump seats in the back are my favorite!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new project! It's nice to see other women on here - there aren't too many of us around. I have had my DII for eleven years this May. Her name is Bertha and she drives me insane most of the time but there's something about her that makes me stubborn and determined to keep her around. I never knew that you could love a cold hunk of metal but it's true... Waiting on spring to arrive here so I can give her some much needed attention - she's kind of needy like that. My husband calls her the money pit and then pats her on the dash and praises her when she, effortlessly, gets us thru a snowstorm. I just sing loudly into her ear and tell her who's boss. I miss those days - can't wait to get back into her.
