Hey guys,

Just bought my first Discovery (30 minutes ago).

1996 Discovery se7 V8 automatic, it has 203,000km or 126,000 miles for my american friends. Only problem with it is exhaust leak, o2 sensor and dead wobble in the steering. Should be able to fix everything pretty easy. I paid 1000$ canadian for it so I think that I got a good price.

I sold my VW New Beetle 2 days ago, I was in need of a bigger vehicle and an automatic transmission. I am getting an ACL surgery pretty soon and wont be able to drive standard for a while after.

Did a 30 km drive after buying it and it drove pretty good.

Any suggestion as what to do first? I already read the post for high mileage maintenance, I will most of it in the following days.

Glad to be here, hope to get good information in the future.
