Hello! I just purchased an '04 Discovery II HSE. I am no mechanic but purchased it from the family who opened the first LR dealership on the east coast. Perhaps
I will become a better mechanic after a while.

Welcome to the forum. I think you will love your Disco. If you have the interest, the mechanics of it will not be an issue. A lot of common sense and lots of great helpful people on this forum.

These things are snow cats. You will laugh next time the weatherman says a foot of snow is coming. Just move the **** over, no need to even lock the diff unless you are going up a steep hill. You won't even know it's on the ground. Congrats.
