05 LR3. it's more of a fixer upper at this point. It's got the shifter corrosion issue and seems like a boatload of codes. Hopefully I can get it squared away before hunt season. Scooped it up a little under a month ago and drive it home in what I think was 3rd the whole way. Currently at the house on jack stands. Been reading up on it and doing what I could in my spare time.

yea that's a bit of a drive, but I'm usually in NC at least 3 or 4 times a year. I'll hit you up next time I'm passing through

lol...yeah...that's how i've gotten most vehicle i've owned. ran pretty smooth and kept it under 2500rpm but i definately felt every bit of the 7500lbs of that thing. I don't know why I always thought it would be lighter. Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me or maybe it's the styling but from a distance it doesn't seem so big but up close it's a bit more massive. Unlike the older ranges that seem massive close and far. Definitely has a different feel than any SUV I've ever driven.
