new member/ disco owner
Hello all,
I am a relatively-new DiscoII owner (coming up on one year actually). I have also been lurking around this forum for the better part of that time span. I absolutely appreciate the wealth of knowledge on this forum, and it has already served me well in performing maintainance on my Disco.
I purchased my Rover last May. It is a 2003 Disco II "S" model. Mileage as of today is right shy of 61K. Yes, I know I am late on the "60K Service," so that starts this weekend
.
Though I don't do any "serious" off-road driving, I do find myself in muddy/snowy situations as an avid waterfowl hunter. This past winter my Disco has gotten me out of some tricky spots that my old Ford Ranger would have needed a tow out of (been there plenty/ glad that is past)!
As stated, I truely enjoy the information/dialogue provided by the members here, and hope that I can contribute something positive too, though I admit to being a mechanical NOOB.
