How's it going... I purchased a 2020 Defender a couple months ago. First Land Rover. Previously owned two X5 models.
Gondwana stone. P400. 5 seats. heated electronic seats. Black contrast roof, Sliding panoramic roof. Cold climate pack. Comfort and convenience pack. Advanced off-road capability pack. Basic rear seat convenience pack. Premium interior protection pack. Three-zone climate control with rear cooling assist. Cabin air ionisation. Sirius XM.
Accessories: roof rack, ladder, carrier, front undershield, wheel arch protection, bright rear scuff plate, front and rear mudflaps (non-classic). Some accessories came with the car.
Had the body of the car wrapped in Xpel Stealth (satin and self-healing) and ceramic coated. Vinyl wrapped hood gloss black.
Changed the OEM Michelins to the Goodyear Wrangler AT Adventure. Didn't want a lift kit right now so forced to stay with 255/60/20. BFG and Toyo don't make this tire size yet. The Michelins are terrible on highways or interstates with wet weather traction improvement grooves. The car is all over the place. The picture below has the Michelins. Looks much better and more like a Defender with the Goodyear Wranglers.
Hoping this Defender carries on the durability and dependability heritage of the original. I'm a little nervous given the reputation of other Land Rover models and this Defender is tech driven. Light overlanding and trail trips planned. Will be testing on a light Sierra trail next week. Fingers crossed.
