New Member - Great Forum
I just posted in the D2 forums about my new purchase and added some questions about maintenance. Great stuff here, lots of great info.
My name is Mark, and I've been a long-time off roader, and I've spent 35 years working in the auto industry. I've had a few Land Cruisers, but sold my 88 FJ62 when they smoothed out all of the western Maryland first roads to do some selective logging. Just not much need for AWD in my usual haunts any more.
Looking for a vehicle for a cross country trip, and started looking at Land Rovers. I know, the gas mileage will suck. But we will be able to do a few mild off road trips (about all that my wife can stand), and have plenty of room for shopping and gear.
