Thought it was high time to register as a member instead of just browsing threads...

I am the owner of an LR3 2007 and have been enjoying my ride for many years. Drove a Disco before that but this vehicle has stolen my Heart ❤️. I am in Nova Scotia, Canada, and this machine is perfect for all seasons, especially our unpredictable winters.

In recent months it had begun to have starting issues, to throw out a flurry of major and minor faults especially suspension and transmission (shutting the truck down while driving), and wreaking havoc with fuses, sensors and motors. Last week it decided to squat in the driveway, say "unable to communicate" and decide throw a final fit. In solidarity, I sat down and did the same. It is likely I may need some sage advice on repairing or replacing my ECM!

Thanks to all on the forums - your stories, advice, photos, instructions and troubleshooting has been invaluable. My truck nearly drove me mad when I couldn't find the problem. I am glad I didn't turn it into a greenhouse...
