Well howdy. I hail from the land they call Washington State and am a senior in high school. I've always been a vintage BMW advocate. I actually drive a 76' 2002 every day but that's for another forum...
Recently my mom was in the market for a second hand car. I was told we were looking at a "Land Rover" and thought to myself oh god ew reliability problems blah blah blah. Well we went out and checked out a 2004 SE7 Disco-2. Unfortunately we ended up with a brand new Hyundai Elantra and not the Disco. But seeing that dark blue Discovery on pretty meaty tires and a lift made me wonder what was up with Land Rovers. I've always liked European cars over domestic. Off roaders being no exception. I've always loved the old school Mercedes G-Wagen series cars and liked the idea of the Landy Defender. Next summer I'm going up to Alaska to get some quick cash and a new vehicle I can drive every day is in order. Although I love my dear 2002 to death, I feel far too guilty to drive it in the rain and it seems rather unsafe impact wise. So it's the summer and what a better time to research Disco's and enjoy my time in a new community. Anyways. Enough ranting about my European car obsession. Looking forward to being around!

Welcome. It took me a few years but I've become a European car fan. It started when I purchased a 2002 Volvo S60. Drove that for awhile and also bought my son a 1996 Volvo 850 GLT. Finally sold the 850 and put my son in the S60 and, six week later a major hail storm gave it a decidedly "golf ball" look. Ended up selling it and buying him a 2003 Saab 9-3.
My current daily driver is a 2007 Mercedes C230, which I absolutely love. Recently decided to get a newer, smaller sized SUV, hence my "new" 2006 LR3.
