So I did it. I watched, I lurked, I waited, and I found the Green Beastie, a 1999 4.6 HSE, which I then purchased, had delivered to Maryland from Illinois, and it has been great so far (and yes, the wife freaked, though she now wants to drive it all the time). Granted the previous owner did not know how to change the cabin filters (and lived near obvious pine trees), I need to blow out the drains in the sunroof (water in well) and the bull/brush bar is a piece of crap (and I cannot find a new one anywhere), but it drives nicely, though it was converted to coil spring (not a terrible thing, though EAS is rather nice as well), and the engine purrs. Hope all is well with all of you, and I may have some questions as they arise. I may also be able to answer some, and hopefully not lead anyone too far astray.
