Thank you, carid ... the usefulness has already paid dividends ... I plan to tow myna travel trailer with the 4, and I didn't realize:-
I had to have the OEM wiring loom - self installed - programmed by Land Rover
Land Rovers are not designed to tow anything using sway bars or weight distribution hitches
I read these two nuggets on the forum before I joined and have since been to Land Rover in Allentown PA (great people), and they reaffirmed that the air shocks on the back negate the need for sway control - I am following their advice even though friends with towing lineage frown due to physics. I shall report back after the tow from CA to PA - couple weeks.
Thank you, carid .... I plan on continuing to use the forum for information, and give back when I can.
Plan on towing my travel trailer with the Land - installed the OEM wiring loom and had in programmed. Land Rover confirmed no sway bars required, and optional on the brake controller - the trailer has electric brakes so ...
Anyway - I will report back to the forum on how it performs.
