New to the Rover world
Well, a few weeks ago I picked up my Land Rover Discovery II for a whopping $2600. All the bells and whistles are working...minus an engine noise, but i'll deal with that here soon. Already received some help fromm spike555, which was much appreciated. It has 97,000miles on it and i hope to have a lot of fun in it. This is a great site from what i can see and I'm excited to be apart of it.
Hello and Welcome,
I'm new here too.
You'll have to let us know what the "engine noise" turns out to be. I'm looking for my first rover and I found a 2004 Discovery on CL that went into the dealership for an oil change and a slight ticking sound and now apparently needs a new engine, so the owner is looking to cut his losses. I guess $2,600 would be a decent offer from me.
Thanks for sharing,
Clem

I haven't gotten into the ticking yet. I'm still trying to figure out where it's coming from. it drives extremely well so im hoping nothing to major. I'll figure it out soon. Im really excited because i just bought a 95 Disco for $900...and it has a chevy 350 in it!! i know that engine inside and out. i'll be posting pics and specs soon.
